I’m obviously playing catchup today. It’s been a very hectic week here in the land of Amazing. The Midwest has once again been pummeled by ice storms and electricity has been spotty along with my Internet access (cable). As a result, I am the proud owner of a new generator and now join the ranks of other survivalists around the country. Actually I’ve always wanted one, there is something really cool about being able to generate your own power.
Below is a shot taken with my camera phone, a tree that has come uprooted just laying on the power lines. This is about 1/4 mile from my house.
Of course there is another big storm on the way this weekend.
